Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester Workshop
Nixon Peabody partner and leader of the Higher Education and Exempt Organizations practice Michael J. Cooney will offer an Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester workshop on February 29, held in Rochester, New York, in the Council’s Gallery.
Cooney’s presentation, “Emerging Issues for Nonprofits: Staying on Top of Potential Changes in Federal and New York Law Affecting Nonprofit Corporations,” is designed to address the many potential approaching shifts in nonprofit law. Attendees will learn about newly-proposed nonprofit and regulatory changes, nonprofit governance issues, such as audit, executive compensation, and conflict of interest, and unrelated business taxable income.
