Manchester, NH. Nixon Peabody LLP is proud to announce that Holly J. Kilibarda has been elected president of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association (NHWBA). She officially assumes office as president on August 15, 2012, and will serve in this role for the next two years. Ms. Kilibarda has been on the NHWBA Board for six years, previously serving two terms as vice president and one term as secretary. The NHWBA is New Hampshire’s first statewide women’s bar association, focused on promoting and supporting the advancement and interests of women in the legal community through leadership, professional networking and development, continuing legal education, and public service initiatives that focus on improving the lives of women and children in New Hampshire.
Ms. Kilibarda, an associate in the Manchester office of Nixon Peabody LLP, has an active commercial litigation and trial practice including extensive experience representing financial institutions and business clients in finance related disputes, insurance coverage matters, and actions for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of good faith, unfair and deceptive trade practices, fraud, and misrepresentation.
In addition to her role with NHWBA, Ms. Kilibarda is also a member of the Manchester Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Vermont Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is also a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester. Ms. Kilibarda graduated from Vanderbilt University with honors and earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School.
