Experience

Christian Hancey is a member of the Labor and Employment Group, where he focuses on employee benefits and compensation matters. Mr. Hancey assists employers in designing and administering their employee benefit plans, including compliance with tax qualification rules, ERISA, and other legal requirements. Mr. Hancey also frequently advises companies on executive compensation issues, such as stock award plans, incentive compensation plans and employment severance agreements.

Mr. Hancey has significant litigation experience and has handled numerous ERISA litigation matters, including claims for benefits, breach of fiduciary duty actions, Department of Labor enforcement actions, and employee class actions.
