Laurie Bloom has over twenty years experience defending complex litigation, including personal injury matters, toxic and mass torts, and commercial torts. Her environmental practice includes representation in matters arising under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (Superfund), the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), and a variety of other state and federal environmental statutes. She regularly represents companies in litigation involving siting issues, particularly of an environmental nature and has extensive Article 78 experience. She is also active in representation of emerging energy companies, including wind energy.
Ms. Bloom has extensive experience in toxic tort and hazardous waste litigation and was involved in the Love Canal litigation.
