Michael Schnipper focuses his practice on the representation of both public and private companies in business law and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financings. Mr. Schnipper’s practice includes representing purchasers and sellers in both stock and asset acquisitions. He also has experience in general corporate governance, federal securities law compliance and reporting, public debt and equity offerings, private placements, and Blue Sky compliance.
Michael Schnipper also regularly advises health care clients on a broad spectrum of issues unique to the healthcare industry, such as emerging developments in private equity investments in health care companies, merger and acquisition of physician practices and healthcare providers, and joint ventures with business corporations, as well as tax-exempt hospitals.
While attending Hofstra University School of Law, Mr. Schnipper was the managing editor of the Hofstra Law Review. He was also an executive officer of the Corporate Law Society and received the William Eric Goldberg Scholarship in recognition of his leadership and contribution to the law school.
