Laura Campbell concentrates her practice on land use and other real estate matters, including representing clients in unlawful detainer lawsuits, and resolving property management and development issues.
With a comprehensive background in real estate law, I focus on both residential and commercial land use and permitting processes. As part of my practice, I offer valuable guidance to clients as they navigate complex procedures with local planning and building departments.
In addition to my experience in landlord-tenant law, I have expanded my focus to include land use matters, where I assist clients in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for their real estate projects. I have a proven track record of successfully guiding clients through the intricacies of easement law and resolving issues related to adverse possession.
An area of particular interest for me is the emerging field of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) development. I have had the privilege of handling numerous ADU hearings with the San Francisco Rent Board, providing my clients with a unique advantage in navigating this relatively new and evolving area of law. This experience underscores my commitment to staying at the forefront of legal developments to better serve my clients' needs.
Furthermore, I have extensive experience in the ongoing management of co-ownership relationships, specifically in updating Tenancy-In-Common (TIC) Agreements and Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs). I assist clients in addressing changes, developments, and conflicts that may arise, ensuring that their co-ownership arrangements remain aligned with their evolving goals and circumstances.
I have a strong foundation in both land use law and residential/commercial real estate matters, which helps me bring a comprehensive approach to help clients achieve their objectives while mitigating potential legal challenges. I am dedicated to providing tailored solutions and personalized attention to each client, ensuring their interests are well-represented throughout every stage of their real estate ventures.
My prior experience includes serving as an expert consultant in impaneling juries.
