Energy
/Overview
The world is driving toward a sustainable future that prioritizes environmental stewardship. The recent legislative push for renewables, including the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, has only accelerated this timeline. Transitioning to this new reality won’t be easy. It will require the combined efforts of all leaders in the sector to invest in new approaches to ensure a clean, efficient, and economically viable energy ecosystem. Nixon Peabody can guide you on this journey. Our energy experience is widespread, including wind, solar, geothermal, waste-to-energy/waste-product, biofuel, and hydroelectric issues, among others. We have counseled power authorities on billion-dollar green bond transactions; we have defended renewable energy companies, ensuring their right to operate; and we have represented utility providers in landmark litigation disputes. Our team has the right experience to counsel our clients as they shape the future of the energy landscape.
