Introduction
My focus
My representations primarily involve real estate secured loan originations, including construction loans, acquisition financing, senior mortgages and mezzanine financings, workouts for distressed real estate, and joint ventures focused on real estate development for commercial real estate properties. The properties in my transactions span a variety of industries and asset classes, including warehouse, multi-family, geothermal, solar, hotel, retail, office and mixed-use projects, across the United States. I assist clients at all stages of their real estate transactions from structuring the deal through closing and beyond.
Looking ahead
I expect certain sectors, particularly office, to continue to struggle in the real estate market as businesses settle in to long term remote work arrangements and negotiate the fallout of high interest rates. I am hopeful, however, that declining interest rates will see a revitalization in real estate markets across the country.
