Introduction
Christine Brosonski has built her career as the firm’s affordable housing paralegal. She works on both HUD regulatory and transactional matters.
My focus
Affordable housing focus
I concentrate my practice on affordable housing development and preservation. I currently work on various U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) matters, including HUD/FHA regulatory compliance, Section 8, Transfers of Physical Assets, Rural Development projects, and mortgage loan prepayments.
Process management
I make sure that affordable housing transactions run smoothly by managing all the application and due diligence aspects and performing tasks like compiling, analyzing, and summarizing complex legal information, statutes, and codes. Our clients can count on me to always know where their transactions are in the process and what the next steps are.
Community
I’m proud to serve as president of the board of directors of Sarah’s Circle, a local nonprofit in Washington, DC’s Adams Morgan community, that has an award-winning affordable housing residence and wellness center that provides comprehensive services for very-low-income seniors.
Looking ahead
I see the development community finding new and exciting ways to transform and preserve affordable housing as federal and state resources continue to evolve.
