Introduction
Jamie Flesch is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Affordable Housing & Real Estate group who represents real estate owners and developers on complex commercial real estate projects nationwide.
My focus
My practice focuses on counseling and representing clients in a wide spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, and developing, financing, and managing commercial real estate assets across the country. My practice includes negotiating purchase and sale agreements and loan documents as well as managing the due diligence review process. My clients execute transactions ranging from complex tax credit and affordable housing deals to market-rate housing transactions. I also have experience in review and advice with respect to solar leasing transactions and drafting, negotiating, and advising clients about construction-related agreements.
I am also an experienced litigator and have represented clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and mediations and at trial.
Looking ahead
With the impact of the global pandemic on the construction and real estate industries, owners and developers are likely to focus more on the intersection of technology and real estate. This intersection includes new construction and building upgrades in larger cities to bring workers back into the office.
