Introduction
Ilya Mirov focuses on strategic patent prosecution, preparation, and counseling across a broad range of technologies.
My focus
I help clients build, manage, and grow effective intellectual property portfolios. Leveraging my science background in both physics and biomedical engineering, I draft and prosecute patent applications across technologies including computer hardware and software, blockchain applications, life sciences, and medical devices.
Looking ahead
I closely monitor the ever-evolving landscape of patent subject matter eligibility, including guidance issued by the United States Patent Office (USPTO) and developing case law. I tailor my approach to the patent preparation process to emphasize an invention’s technical solution to a technical problem.
