My focus
I concentrate my practice on complex litigation and investigative matters, with particular emphasis on white-collar defense and international arbitrations concerning commercial disputes both in the United States and abroad. I have effectively represented clients in proceedings overseen by some of the world’s most esteemed arbitration institutions, including the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). I have also advised clients on the international enforceability of arbitral awards and executed negotiations for cross-border commercial agreements. I consult on business projects across more than fifty countries, acting as the principal point of contact for transactional matters with international investment entities, and the drafting and negotiation of various derivatives and arbitration agreements.
This diverse experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding and a strategic approach to addressing complex legal challenges effectively. And my extensive business networks further enhances my ability to navigate multifaceted issues from a global perspective.
My scholarly work includes a notable dissertation on the recognition and enforcement of international arbitral awards, published by the University of California, Berkeley. I am also a frequent speaker in the field of international arbitration. I present at global conferences and contribute to reputable legal journals, sharing insights on complex legal theories and practical applications in arbitration and my dedication to advancing the field is further evidenced by active membership in several professional associations, where I collaborate with other leading practitioners to refine arbitration practices and promote fair resolution of cross-border disputes.
