Boston, MA. Nixon Peabody LLP is pleased to announce the law firm has named Christopher Froeb to lead its nationally recognized Real Estate practice, which includes affordable housing, condominiums and cooperatives, environmental, real estate finance, land use, and leasing practice areas, in addition to commercial real estate.
In this firmwide role, Chris will lead a group of more than 100 attorneys and professional colleagues who work with clients in all areas of real estate to make positive impacts on their businesses as well as in their surrounding communities. Chris has served in a variety of leadership roles at the firm, most recently as managing partner of Nixon Peabody’s Boston office.
In his practice, Chris represents developers, investors, and owners in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. His clients include national opportunistic and value-add investors as well as local developers. He counsels them on joint venture transactions, acquisitions, and financings involving industrial properties, medical offices, laboratory assets, student housing, and multifamily and seniors housing properties.

Chris takes over the practice leadership role from Nixon Peabody partner Denise Pursley, who led the group to high levels of success over the past decade. Denise will continue to counsel her clients and mentor the next generation of real estate professionals.
