As part of our commitment to diversifying the legal profession, we have updated and revitalized our Supplier Diversity Program, designed to ensure that the vendors and suppliers we work with reflect the clients and communities we serve.

/Who qualifies as a diverse vendor?

Diverse vendors are suppliers who are majority controlled by racially/ethnically diverse people, women, veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and/or people with disabilities, as well as businesses located in a HUBZone. Any diverse vendor seeking business with Nixon Peabody must be certified by one of the following organizations:

National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA)
Disability: IN
Appropriate city, state, or federal agencies

Nixon Peabody is a 2024 corporate member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, a nonprofit coalition focused on advancing economic equity and powering growth for businesses operated by a broad group of systematically excluded communities of color. NMSDC’s advocacy for access to contracts and procurement opportunities aligns closely with the principles of our Supplier Diversity Program.
