Boston, MA. Nixon Peabody LLP is proud to announce that legal industry publication Law360 has named Government Investigations & White-Collar Defense partner Joshua C. Sharp as one of its “Rising Stars of 2023.”
Josh is one of only five attorneys nationally named in the “White Collar” category. Based in the firm’s Boston office, Josh represents corporations and individuals in government investigations, regulatory inquiries, and grand jury matters. He also regularly litigates complex civil matters in state and federal courts.
Josh recently secured the reversal of his client’s conviction in the first Varsity Blues college admissions case to go to trial. He also recently won the dismissal of a $3 billion civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act lawsuit filed against his client in the District of Massachusetts.
“Josh is an elite litigator who thrives in high-profile, high-stakes situations,” said Nixon Peabody partner Robert Fisher, leader of the firm’s Government Investigations & White-Collar Defense practice. “We congratulate Josh on this well-deserved recognition.”
Law360’s Rising Stars “are comprised of top litigators and dealmakers practicing at a level usually seen from veteran attorneys.” The 2023 list totals 183 attorneys under 40 from among more than 1,300 submissions.
