New York, NY. Law firm Nixon Peabody LLP continues to expand its Corporate practice with the hiring of counsel Lisa Perri, who focuses her practice on middle-market mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions.
Based in Nixon Peabody’s New York City office, Lisa’s practice also concentrates on carve-out transactions, growth and structured equity investments, joint ventures, and other transformative capital events across a range of industries.

Prior to joining Nixon Peabody, Lisa worked at an international law firm where she managed complex transactions on behalf of her clients, including advising senior management on regulatory compliance concerns, potential liabilities associated with M&A transactions, and general deal-risk mitigation. She has also taken an active role in mentoring law firm colleagues.
Lisa is a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers and the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association. She earned her BS from Quinnipiac University and her JD from Rutgers Law School, where Lisa was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship and the C. Willard Heckel Scholarship.
