New York, NY. Nixon Peabody LLP has continued to expand its Affordable Housing & Real Estate practice with the addition of Josie Morris, who joins the law firm as counsel.
Based in Nixon Peabody’s New York City office, Josie brings more than a decade of experience representing developers, owners, and institutional investors in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. She has worked in both private practice and in-house counsel roles and will focus primarily on our affordable housing real estate work at the firm.

Josie guides clients through every stage of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, and financing. She brings extensive experience across all asset classes, with a particular emphasis on multifamily and affordable housing properties, helping clients achieve their objectives and navigate the challenges of today’s evolving real estate and affordable housing landscapes.

Josie earned her JD from New York University School of Law and her BA from the University of Michigan.
