California Labor & Employment
/Overview
California, being the state with the largest workforce in the nation, presents unique challenges for employers. The projected growth of the workforce by nearly 40% by 2025 means that employers must stay vigilant and comply with California labor law. Obscure state and municipal laws further complicate areas of employment that already require watchful attention—such as pay and wages, discrimination and harassment, employee leave, and reductions in workforce.
The state’s legal framework includes incentives for whistleblowers and employee-led lawsuits and class actions heighten the risk for employers. Our team will ensure you have the proper policies and procedures in place to mitigate risks associated with California labor laws and will defend you against any action.
