Introduction
My focus
I focus my practice on real estate transactions involving federal low-income housing tax credits and other benefits. I represent investors and syndicators in connection with these transactions, and primarily draft the equity transaction documents and conduct the necessary due diligence to ensure these transactions run smoothly and efficiently.
Before joining Nixon Peabody, I worked at an affordable housing law firm, where I mainly represented developers on a broad range of affordable housing and community development transactions. Prior to working with that affordable housing law firm, I interned with Beacon Communities, LLC, where I participated in development project meetings and closings.
Looking ahead
I anticipate an increase of affordable housing developments nationwide as the demand for affordable housing in both urban and rural areas continues to grow. I look forward to helping our clients navigate the affordable housing industry and contributing to the revitalization of communities around the country.
