My focus
I focus on transactional and regulatory matters for healthcare providers and others in the industry, including mergers and acquisitions of healthcare entities, joint ventures and partnerships, employment agreements, managed care contracting, the formation of healthcare practice groups, and other strategic transactions.
Looking ahead
I anticipate that continued integration of new technologies into our lives—IoT, big data analytics, and blockchain technologies—will only continue to propagate into the healthcare industry. While healthcare providers and other related stakeholders will leverage these technologies to improve health outcomes, refine quality improvement practices, and cut costs, these technologies present myriad challenges related to data privacy and security, among others.
