Introduction
Mark Molloy is a litigation partner, based in Buffalo, who works across Nixon Peabody’s New York state offices. He represents companies and individuals in government investigations and white collar criminal matters, as well as represents companies in commercial or employment disputes litigated in state or federal court.
My focus
I focus on representing companies in complex disputes, either before or during litigation. My primary practice centers around defending companies involved in employment or discrimination matters, and in commercial or contractual disputes. I also focus on helping individuals or companies involved in governmental investigations, which includes defending them during white collar criminal matters or assisting with pre-investigation concerns such as regulatory compliance.
Looking ahead
My main goal is to help clients avoid the types of disputes and lawsuits that frequently arise within my area of practice. I have been tracking an increase in governmental investigations across several industries, which I can help clients prepare for by ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
The same is true in the commercial and employment arenas. With the shift in the economy, commercial and employment litigation is expected to increase. My goal is to help clients avoid or address such disputes before they end up in court.
