Ion Moraru is a patent attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) practice group. With 11+ years of experience protecting IP rights worldwide, Ion assists clients in various industries to develop and manage IP portfolios.
I counsel domestic and international businesses, research institutions, technology transfer offices, and start-up companies. I help clients identify strategic advantages and advise on securing, enforcing, and monetizing IP rights.
I work closely with clients operating in mechanical, electrical, computer, software, healthcare, quantum information, artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), telecommunications, imaging, mapping, materials, consumer products, devices, and other technological spaces.
AI continues to play an ever-increasing role in IP and is expected to blur the line between technological advances and the law. IP practice will need to consider how the tools of AI should or should not be utilized in developing and implementing legal strategies for the benefit of clients.
