Introduction
Beth supports attorneys with the intake of new applications for both straight lease transactions and revenue bonds. She drafts documents, reviews due diligence materials, and interacts with clients, applicants, and their counsel to provide up-to-date information. She also assists in the preparation of resolutions, notices of public hearings, and other documents.
My focus
The majority of my time involves working with clients and attorneys on projects across New York. I have worked on projects such as hospital and university expansions, new construction, and affordable housing projects. It is rewarding to watch new projects stimulate the economy, bring in new jobs, or provide services not otherwise readily available to the community. I also train new paralegals in our Public Finance Department and ensure that our practice assistants are fully trained and able to support our attorneys, paralegals, and ongoing projects.
I have also assisted with the formation of nonprofit entities together with corporate reviews of smaller nonprofits. It has been fulfilling to work with clients who are creating entities that work to bring about change, support individuals and families, or focus on needs not otherwise being met.
Looking ahead
I’m excited to watch nonprofit corporations move forward with new ideas and expansions as the economy continues to grow.
