Mark focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, representing clients in patent, trademark, and trade dress infringement cases, as well as in actions for trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition. In connection with enforcement of IP rights, Mark also assists clients in developing comprehensive brand protection strategies.
Above all else, I focus on the business and personal interests of my clients. My clients know me best for fully understanding and never losing sight of their goals.
My practice is dedicated to IP litigation before US District Courts and the International Trade Commission. Leveraging my engineering background, I represent companies in patent infringement or trade secret misappropriation cases involving a variety of technologies, including computer hardware, networking products and services, mobile devices, consumer electronics, automotive parts, and industrial equipment.
Drawing on my litigation experience, I also represent designers of fashion apparel, footwear, and luxury goods in brand enforcement actions involving trademark, trade dress, and design patent claims. I serve not only as a legal advisor, but help brands establish comprehensive business strategies in order to ensure the market exclusivity of their products and stay ahead of their competition.
The flood of unauthorized medical products spawned by the pandemic was an eye-opener for manufacturers, consumers, and even many attorneys. Clients were surprised to find that it only takes a few minutes and no upfront costs to identify current top-selling products and start selling copies on all major online marketplaces. Moving forward, attorneys will need to have an extensive understanding of concepts such as deep AI, open data, and blockchain technology.
