Los Angeles, CA. Nixon Peabody represented Santa Barbara–based client PiMEMS, Inc., a leading developer of titanium micro technologies and ultra-thin devices, in its acquisition by thermal management and environmental sealing industry leader Boyd Corporation.
As consumers and product designers continue the demand for powerful smaller, lighter devices, PiMEMS’ technology will be an asset in the design and manufacture of high-performance microelectronics and ultra-thin thermal solutions. Boyd said in a statement that the acquisition is strategically aligned with its commitment to innovation and support for next generation electronics.
The Nixon Peabody team consisted of partners Seth Levy, Matt Grazier and Shahzad Malik, and associate Tony Thai, all based in Los Angeles.
