Introduction
Ari is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Corporate practice group. A member of the firm’s Entertainment team, Ari advises various firm clients, including music artists, producers, managers, management companies, record labels, and music publishing and private equity companies.
My focus
I focus on supporting the needs of the firm’s talent and entertainment clients, including drafting and negotiating recording, publishing, producer, songwriter, and endorsement agreements. I am well-versed in conducting due diligence and negotiating contracts as it pertains to the firm’s M&A deals, catalog acquisitions, corporate documents, and equity agreements.
Looking ahead
A great song is timeless, but capitalizing on a viral moment is challenging in today’s fast-changing multimedia environment. Music clients need a thoughtful, dynamic strategy to turn their 15 minutes of fame into 15 years (or more) of sustained success.
