My focus
I serve my clients in all facets of public finance and project finance with a constant focus on overarching client objectives and needs. I represent a wide variety of clients, including issuers, underwriters, and borrowers on a variety of public finance transactions. This includes due diligence reviews for compliance with state, local, and federal laws, and researching, drafting, and reviewing documents to assist clients with successfully financing their projects.
Representative experience
- Served as co-bond counsel to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in connection with the issuance of billions of dollars of bonds and bond anticipation notes
- Represented Oklahoma Development Financing Authority as disclosure counsel for its utility securitization financings in the aftermath of Winter Storm Uri
- Served as underwriters’ counsel for numerous general obligation financings
Looking ahead
Given current social and political forces, I expect increasing demand for renewable energy and new opportunities for infrastructure projects, in addition to continued elevated levels of restructuring.
