Jordan Giordano
Cooperative & Condominium Support Specialist
Introduction
Jordan Giordano supports the Cooperative & Condominium group in Nixon Peabody’s Affordable Housing and Real Estate Department.
My focus
As a Cooperative & Condominium support specialist, I assist with various co-op and condo conversion projects and individual unit closings. In addition, I am the point person for the process of escrows for various transaction types concerning multiple clients working with our practice. This includes managing the escrows for our busy contract and closing practice for cooperatives, condominiums, and senior-entry fee communities.
Looking ahead
I envision that there will be a need for more affordable homeownership options in New York City with the decline of Mitchell-Lama. I look forward to being involved with more affordable homeownership projects that our practice takes on.
