Corey Habib is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Corporate Transactions practice group. He focuses his practice on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, venture financing, and corporate governance, and advises clients on general corporate matters.
Corey is admitted to practice in New York, and is supervised by attorneys admitted to practice in New Hampshire.
I represent public and private companies, as well as private equity clients, in a variety of matters, including mergers, acquisitions, venture financing, public securities offerings, corporate restructurings, and other complex commercial transactions. Working with companies in a variety of industries, including media; name, image and likeness (NIL); food and beverage; healthcare; and manufacturing, I provide strategically drafted agreements, early risk detection, and due diligence in middle- and upper-market M&A transactions.
As markets stabilize and interest rates likely decline in the coming year, we should see a spike in transaction volume among nontraditional investors.
