Partner / Co-Leader, M&A and Corporate Transactions Team
Kevin Grant is a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice group and a member of the M&A and Private Equity teams.
He advises multi-national corporations, financial sponsors, family investment offices, and private companies in connection with a broad range of strategic transactions. He works with clients in a variety of verticals, including life sciences, industrials and chemicals, consumer, and technology.
I have extensive experience advising private investment funds and strategic buyers in acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex business transactions, with a particular focus on the middle-market. This includes counseling clients in structuring and negotiating leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, venture investments, minority recapitalizations, and distressed and other special opportunities.
In addition, I work with private companies and financial sponsors in the management of their portfolio companies on a variety of corporate matters, including add-on acquisitions, debt financings, licensing, and international expansions. Further, I regularly represent entrepreneurs, and emerging and growth stage companies throughout the life cycle of the business, including capital raises and liquidity events.
Finally, I advise fund sponsors and family investment offices in formation of committed capital funds and special purpose vehicles. My corporate transactions work includes clients in many innovative industries, including life sciences, biomaterials, chemicals, manufacturing, technology, gaming, and consumer.
Kevin joined Nixon Peabody in March 2022. The work listed here may reflect experience from prior firms.
I see the middle-market remaining robust, with financial sponsors building on platform acquisitions with add-ons in key verticals. On the strategic side, international companies remain acquisitive and continue to seek expansion, growing through acquisitions in the US and abroad.
