Kendal is a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice and co-leads the Franchising & Distribution Team. He represents franchisors throughout their business lifecycle—as startups, middle-market franchisors, and mature, global franchise systems. Kendal has extensive experience in negotiating and enforcing complex franchise, licensing, and distribution transactions in the United States and in jurisdictions across the world.
Henry J. H. Wheare, Intellectual Property (International Firms)
Based in Hong Kong, Henry is a partner with Nixon Peabody CWL. His practice involves intellectual property protection and dispute resolution, focusing on patents, trademarks, copyright, and designs, with a strong emphasis on cross-border solutions and alternative dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in negotiating transactional IP matters, including licenses and technology transfers. Additionally, he advises on competition law, particularly regarding anti-competitive conduct and compliance in relation to IP.
