Washington, DC. Nixon Peabody advised TEGNA Inc. (NYSE: TGNA) in its acquisition of Locked On Podcast Network, the leading and innovative podcast for local sports. The acquisition will expand TEGNA’s footprint in the fast-growing podcast market.
Locked On provides in-depth coverage of every team in the four major U.S. professional sports leagues—NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL—in addition to more than 30 college teams. Its coverage includes league-wide, industry-leading sports, sports betting, and the NFL Draft, among others, all presented by renowned reporters, writers, and sports insiders.
