Washington, DC. Law firm Nixon Peabody LLP advised TEGNA Inc. (NYSE: TGNA) subsidiary Premion, LLC, in its acquisition of demand-side advertising platform company Octillion Media, LLC.
The addition of Octillion Media will expand Premion’s capabilities in the growing Connected TV (CTV) marketplace by combining Octillion Media’s cutting-edge technology with Premion’s award-winning local CTV and Over-the-Top (OTT) advertising solution. The acquisition included the assets of Octillion Media and the stock of its subsidiary, Octillion Media India Private Limited.

Octillion Media’s platform, developed specifically for local CTV/OTT advertising, was named the second-fastest-growing private media company in the United States on the 2022 Inc. 5000. As part of the transaction, the company’s employees, including Octillion Media CEO and co-founder Gabe Greenberg, will join the Premion team.
