Ted Wolff advises clients in navigating environmental issues in both disputes and transactional matters. He supports clients in retail, transportation, real estate, industrial goods, manufacturing, food service, healthcare as well as government agencies. Ted’s environmental litigation experience includes representing clients in federal and state courts and a range of administration actions. Ted focuses on matters involving compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws.
My focus
In my practice, I advise clients on environmental concerns, including supply chain management, greening, and sustainability. I have experience working on environmental due diligence, risk evaluation, and allocation and shifting of environmental liabilities. I focus on guiding companies through the development and execution of environmental management systems and sustainability programs, and I help organizations create environmental training, emergency response, and day-to-day compliance plans.
I also have extensive experience with brownfield clean up and redevelopment in which I develop different approaches to address contaminated properties and facilitate restoration, redevelopment, reuse, and sales.
Looking ahead
I have served clients through numerous federal administration changes with each resulting in dire predictions of changed landscape. By degrees, maybe. But much of the environmental law practice is driven by corporate boards and professional operations as well as state and local environmental requirements. There is a trend toward compliance, transparency, and sustainability that is only going to grow.
